Earlier this month the IPCC released its 6th assessment report, with the most direct language it has ever used to warn humanity that we are on the brink of catastrophe. This is also the summer when drought, fires, flooding and other extreme weather events are helping Americans wake up. In short, it’s all happening faster than scientists thought it would.
